The article presents the results of studies aimed at improving the efficiency of subsoil use through the processing of dredging dump dumps of man-made placers. The authors proposed restructuring the dump complex to create favorable conditions for the rational development of technogenic deposits. The processes of natural restoration of vegetation on man-made dumps are investigated. The terms of the renewal of vegetation cover after the reduction of anthropogenic load in the zone of influence of placer gold mining have been established.
